The north of Croatia doesn’t have tourism for a reason. The part running along the Bosnian border where we headed was just one long flat road. Usually with houses all the way along, blurring the lines between towns. Occasionally the houses were still scarred with the bullet wounds of the Bosnian war some 23 years previous. It gave a quote somber feeling to much of that leg.

We had 2 warm showers and a wild camp in Croatia, so it worked out fairly cheap. Some long tedious days coupled with the unchanging landscape meant we were quite glad when we arrived at the border, and got our first stamp in the passports. Off into Serbia.
